9 Point Dinner!

 

 


 

This is my dinner tonight, and it only adds up to 9 Pro Points (pp).

  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 medium-sized carrot
  • 1 round of frozen spinach

And it couldn’t be simpler to cook!  Just peel and chop the potatoes and carrot up small and boil until soft.  Add the frozen spinach and give it 5 minutes to cook.  Drain and mash.  Take your anger out on the veg!  You don’t need to add any milk or butter.

Heat a frying pan – no oil.  Spoon the mashed veg into the pan and frazzle.  Should take about 10 minutes.

Serve and eat!

When I make this again, I’ll probably add in more vegetables and serve it with baked beans or poached egg.

 

How I Worked It Out:

I weighed the potatoes, and then divided the weight by 50.  That gives you the number of points.  In this case, that equalled 9.  Add a value of 1pp per 50 grams.
The carrot and the spinach is FREE!  Both the carrots and the spinach have 0pp to them.
